On July 1, following the Asian debut of Ferrari’s first all-electric sports car, the Luce, the initial allocation of 88 units for the Chinese market was quickly reserved. The model starts at RMB 3.988 million in China—approximately RMB 360,000 lower than its European price. According to authorized dealers, although the first batch is fully allocated, additional orders are still being accepted, with non-refundable deposits ranging from RMB 4 to 5 million. Deliveries of the first vehicles are expected to begin in the third quarter of 2025. The Luce marks Ferrari’s first-ever four-door, five-seat all-electric vehicle in its history. It features a quad-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering a combined output of 1,050 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. Equipped with a 122 kWh battery pack, the car offers a CLTC-rated range exceeding 530 kilometers and supports 350 kW DC fast charging. Currently, only one engineering prototype is available in the Asian market, and test drives are not yet offered. In response to external criticism regarding its design, Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna stated that one must see the actual car in person to understand how it differs from Chinese electric vehicles.
