On June 27, 2026, at the 15th International Automotive Electronics Industry Summit and the 2025 Automotive Electronics Science and Technology Awards Ceremony held in Shenzhen, Quectel’s independently developed “Discrete RF Front-End Circuit” won the Technology Invention Award. This technology employs a discrete-component design, enabling RF functionality to be configured according to automakers’ specific requirements, thereby avoiding the unnecessary cost and power consumption associated with traditional integrated solutions. The solution supports key 5G frequency bands—including n41, n77, n78, and n79—as well as full-band antenna tuning, and features millisecond-level automatic switching in the event of communication link anomalies, significantly enhancing the reliability of in-vehicle communications. The technology has already been deployed in automotive communication terminals, infotainment systems, and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) devices, effectively reducing power consumption and ensuring stable communication links even in complex environments.
