At the Shanghai double-header of the 2025/26 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, Jaguar TCS Racing’s #13 driver António Félix da Costa started fifth in Round 12 and delivered a composed performance in wet conditions, executing precise race strategy to secure second place. This marked his fourth podium finish with the team and his third consecutive year on the Shanghai podium. His teammate Mitch Evans qualified on the front row for Round 12 but struggled with low grip on the slippery track during the race, ultimately finishing eighth and scoring four points. In Round 13, Evans was unable to start the race due to a failure of the DC/DC converter—a spec component mandated by the championship. Da Costa briefly climbed to third early in the race, but as the track dried and rivals activated Attack Mode to overtake him, he eventually crossed the line in 14th place. After these two rounds, Evans sits second in the Drivers’ Championship with 132 points, nine behind the leader, while da Costa ranks fourth. Jaguar TCS Racing continues to lead the Teams’ Championship by six points. Additionally, Joel Eriksson of Envision Racing—the customer team using Jaguar powertrains—claimed third place in Round 13, marking his maiden Formula E podium and helping Jaguar narrow the gap to the leader in the Manufacturers’ standings. The team will head to Tokyo at the end of July for the final Asian round of the season.
