Honda has officially unveiled its new brand logo. The redesigned "H" emblem draws inspiration from "two outstretched hands," symbolizing the company's commitment to delivering services that are closer to its customers. The new logo made its debut at CES 2024 and will begin appearing on the front and rear of Honda’s new battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) and hybrid models starting next year, gradually rolling out across the entire product lineup and business segments. This rebranding coincides with Honda’s comprehensive strategic shift toward electrification. The automaker’s next-generation BEVs will emphasize "slim, lightweight, and intelligent" design principles, optimizing aerodynamics and driving dynamics. Meanwhile, Honda plans to launch at least 13 new hybrid models between 2027 and 2030, equipped with what it claims is the "world’s most efficient" powertrain system—delivering a 10% improvement in fuel efficiency. These hybrids will ride on a new platform that reduces vehicle weight by 90 kilograms and achieves 60% commonality across core components. The Prelude sports car and Super-N electric vehicle, both launching in the UK this year, will be the last models to feature the previous logo.
