Ford recently released usage data for its 2025 BlueCruise advanced driver-assistance system. By the end of 2025, 1.22 million vehicles globally were equipped with the system, an 80% year-over-year increase. In the U.S., users logged 3.8 million hours of driving time and covered 264 million miles across 18 million trips. F-150 owners were the most frequent users, accounting for 1.6 million hours and 118 million miles; the Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning ranked second and third, respectively. California led all U.S. regions in BlueCruise usage. The data also revealed that more than 60% of activated trips lasted less than 20 minutes, highlighting the system’s widespread adoption for short- to medium-distance commuting. December 27, 2025, marked the single busiest day of usage. Ford plans to expand BlueCruise availability in Europe in 2026 by adding four new compatible models and launching BlueCruise 1.5, which will feature automated lane-changing capability, debuting on the new Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, and Lincoln Nautilus.
