Forbes China emphasized that traction batteries are a critical factor in evaluating the quality, safety, and comfort of luxury electric vehicles. According to data, 60% of the listed models are exclusively powered by CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited) batteries, with the penetration rate reaching as high as 80% in the pure-electric SUV and MPV segments—highlighting CATL’s pivotal role in the premium new energy vehicle market.
