The real-world images of WEY's all-new full-size flagship SUV have recently been revealed. The vehicle is built on Great Wall Motor’s "Guiyuan" platform—the world’s first native AI-powered full-power architecture, unveiled on January 16. With an expected length exceeding 5.3 meters, the SUV features bold, straight-line design language and is equipped with a roof-mounted LiDAR system. It also supports rear-wheel steering and on-the-spot U-turn capabilities. As the first flagship model based on the "Guiyuan" platform, it will be powered by an upgraded Hi4 hybrid system, comprising a 2.0T high-efficiency hybrid engine, a dedicated 4-speed hybrid transmission, an 800V high-voltage architecture, high-energy-density batteries, and a 270kW silicon carbide electric motor. The "Guiyuan" platform supports multiple powertrain configurations—including FCEV, BEV, HEV, and PHEV—and integrates cutting-edge intelligent technologies such as the native AI agent ASL 2.0, Coffee EEA 4.0 electronic/electrical architecture, and dual VLA large models. WEY CEO Zhao Yongpo previously described the vehicle as embodying “new philosophy, new platform, and new flagship.”
