U.S. Stocks Rally as Tesla and Meta Lead Tech Gains

All three major U.S. stock indices closed higher, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 0.61%, the Nasdaq Composite up 0.91%, and the S&P 500 gaining 0.55%. Technology stocks led the gains, as Tesla surged more than 4% after CEO Elon Musk revealed that its fully unsupervised Robotaxi has begun on-road testing in Austin. Meta Platforms’ shares jumped over 5%, while Micron Technology and AMD rose more than 2% and 1%, respectively, collectively boosting the broader market.
