SAIC, a brand under Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), announced that cumulative deliveries of its first model, the SAIC H5, have surpassed 30,000 units. Launched on September 23, 2023, with a starting price of RMB 159,800, the H5 is currently the most affordable model in the HIMA lineup. Developed jointly by SAIC Motor and Huawei under Huawei’s Smart Selection vehicle model, SAIC is the fifth “Jie” (Boundary) brand within the HIMA ecosystem. After reaching 20,000 deliveries in December last year, it added another 10,000 units in just over a month—a standout performance. Additionally, the company has introduced New Year purchase incentives, including cash discounts, configuration credits, low-interest financing options, and subsidies for advanced intelligent driving features, offering combined savings of over RMB 10,000. Meanwhile, SAIC’s premium coupe, the Z7, has also been unveiled and is expected to debut this spring.
