Nanjing Boosts Green Consumption with Appliance and Auto Trade-In Program, Offering Up to RMB 30 Million in Subsidies

The Nanjing Municipal Government recently issued the "Several Policies on Accelerating the Cultivation of New Quality Productive Forces to Promote High-Quality Development (2026 Edition)," which clearly outlines a special campaign to boost consumption. The policy calls for sustained implementation of trade-in programs for key product categories such as home appliances and automobiles, encourages consumption of green products, and supports commercial enterprises in organizing themed promotional activities under the “Four Seasons Engagement” series of consumption-boosting initiatives. Additionally, the policy aims to accelerate the development of a modern commercial and logistics system, offering investment subsidies of up to 40% for eligible projects, with a maximum support of RMB 20 million per project and an aggregate cap of RMB 30 million per enterprise.
