Nanjing Unveils New Stimulus Measures: Up to ¥30 Million Support for Auto Trade-Ins

The Nanjing municipal government recently issued the "Several Policies on Accelerating the Cultivation of New Quality Productive Forces to Promote High-Quality Development (2026 Edition)," which explicitly outlines a special action plan to boost consumption. The policy will implement national and provincial requirements for trade-in programs for consumer goods, focusing on categories such as automobiles and home appliances, and encouraging green consumption. Additionally, leveraging the "Four Seasons Engagement" series of consumption-promotion activities, the government will support commercial enterprises in organizing themed promotional campaigns to invigorate market vitality. Regarding the development of a modern commercial and distribution system, the government will provide investment subsidies of up to 40% for eligible projects, with a maximum of RMB 20 million per project and an aggregate cap of RMB 30 million per enterprise. These measures are expected to effectively stimulate local consumption and support high-quality economic growth.
