Recently, ADAYO HUAYANG General announced that its high-performance in-vehicle AI computing platform—Huayang AIBOX—has successfully secured a key intelligent vehicle project定点 (nomination) from a leading domestic Chinese automaker. Designed as a standalone box-type unit, the platform delivers high AI computing power, enabling deployment of 7B-scale large models directly on the vehicle and supporting parallel processing of multiple models with real-time responsiveness. Amid the ongoing transition toward centralized computing architectures in automotive electronics, Huayang AIBOX addresses limitations of cloud-based AI—such as latency, security, and reliability—by efficiently collaborating with the cockpit domain controller to provide stable, scalable edge-side computing capabilities. This nomination marks a critical milestone in deploying large models on the vehicle edge for mass-produced, pre-installed applications and validates the engineering feasibility of the "mid-tier cockpit computing + high-performance AIBOX" technical approach. The project is now in the engineering development and pre-mass production phase.
