Huawei has officially announced its Qiankun Intelligent Automotive Solution, revealing that the new versions of Qiankun ADS 4 and HarmonySpace 5 (Harmony Cockpit) will soon be rolled out. The updated software introduces multiple AI agents based on the MoLA architecture, covering navigation, news, vehicle control, and a general-purpose large model. It supports features such as fuzzy address correction, mixed text-image-video layouts, and full-cabin voice control. In terms of intelligent driving, the update adds K-Turn three-point U-turns, off-road navigation assistance, enhanced campus navigation, and nearby parking support. During parking maneuvers, the system can now audibly announce the vehicle’s intentions externally via voice prompts. The cockpit experience receives significant upgrades, including a 3D smart-control desktop, customizable toolbars, and 16 themes—including the newly added “Childlike Dreams.” The multimedia space aggregates content from multiple platforms and is enhanced with AI-powered image quality optimization technology. Additionally, the system introduces new safety features such as automatic emergency evasive steering, pinch-protection incapacitation assistance, and emergency calling. Huawei also previewed that ADS 5, HarmonySpace 6, and the XMC digital chassis will be unveiled ahead of the Beijing Auto Show in April this year.
