Porsche announced on January 28 that longtime Design Director Michael Mauer will officially step down next month. Having led Porsche’s sports car design since 2004 for over two decades, Mauer shaped the design language of numerous iconic models. He will be succeeded by Tobias Sühlmann, who will assume the role of Head of Design at Porsche effective February 1, overseeing the brand’s future vehicle design direction. This leadership transition marks a new chapter for Porsche’s design team.
