On January 27, Aptiv announced the appointment of the core management team for its Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS) business, which is scheduled to be spun off into an independent company named Versigent on April 1, 2026, and listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Joseph Liotine will serve as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Douglas Ostermann will serve as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Liotine brings extensive leadership experience from Aptiv and several other prominent companies, while Ostermann has a strong background in finance and operations within the automotive and related sectors. The Chairman of Aptiv’s Board of Directors stated that the new team will lay a solid foundation for Versigent’s future growth, and Liotine emphasized that the new company will be better positioned to meet the market’s growing demand for advanced electrical architectures.
