MINI has recently launched an updated version of its all-electric crossover, the Countryman E, featuring multiple technical upgrades that increase its WLTP-rated range from 462 km to 501 km—an improvement of 8.4%. The new model is equipped with a 65.2 kWh battery pack (up from 64.6 kWh) and incorporates a silicon carbide inverter and new front axle hub bearings to reduce energy consumption and rolling resistance. The all-wheel-drive variant, the Countryman SE ALL4, also receives simultaneous upgrades, boosting its WLTP range to 467 km and achieving an EPA-estimated range of 341 km. This AWD model features dual motors producing a combined output of 308 horsepower, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 180 km/h. Its starting price in the U.S. is $45,200. The updated Countryman E will go on sale in Europe in March this year, while its U.S. launch date has not yet been announced.
