During a live stream on February 1, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun responded to user questions, revealing that he had purchased both the Xiaomi SU7 Founder's Edition and the SU7 Ultra. He currently drives most often a "Yingqing" (Celadon Green) Xiaomi YU7 and plans to choose the upcoming new-generation SU7 as his next vehicle. On the same day, Xiaomi Auto launched advertisements for the new-generation SU7 at multiple airports nationwide. Display vehicles will begin arriving in core shopping mall showrooms in cities including Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou starting February 13. The new model offers nine exterior colors, five interior options, and six wheel designs. The Pro variant achieves a CLTC-rated range of 902 km. All trims come standard with a high-strength body structure and a high-performance braking system, while the Pro and Max variants additionally feature air suspension and CDC dampers. The new car is scheduled to officially launch in April.
