NIO Sets New Record with 146,649 Battery Swaps in a Single Day as Nationwide Swap Stations Exceed 3,700

On February 15, 2026, NIO set a new historical record by completing 146,649 battery swaps in a single day. To date, NIO has built more than 8,600 charging and battery swap stations across China, including over 3,700 battery swap stations. Among these, more than 1,000 are located along expressways, covering the national "9 vertical and 11 horizontal" expressway network and 16 major urban clusters, connecting 550 cities nationwide. Earlier, on February 6, NIO announced that its cumulative battery swaps had officially surpassed 100 million. CEO William Li stated that this milestone demonstrates that the battery swap model has gained large-scale validation from both users and the market, and is becoming one of the mainstream energy replenishment methods for new energy vehicles.
