Following a 34% year-over-year increase in retail deliveries to 60,119 units in 2025, Polestar announced it will launch its "largest-ever product offensive" starting in 2026: the Polestar 5 will enter customer deliveries this summer, followed by a more practical new version of the Polestar 4 by year-end; an all-new next-generation Polestar 2 is slated for early 2027, and a compact crossover, the Polestar 7, is planned for launch in 2028. However, the highly anticipated flagship electric convertible sports car, the Polestar 6—originally scheduled for production in 2026—has been delayed. The company stated it is currently prioritizing other models and did not disclose a revised launch timeline. Based on the 2022 O2 concept car, the Polestar 6 is expected to carry a price tag of around $200,000 and deliver exceptional performance (884 horsepower, 0–100 km/h in 3.2 seconds), positioning it as a halo model for the brand—though customers will have to wait at least two more years for its production debut.
