BYD has officially unveiled its new sub-brand, "Linghui Auto," along with the first official images of its debut model—the Linghui e9—targeting the mobility market. Based on the 2025 BYD e9, the Linghui e9 features only minor exterior updates, including a dot-matrix grille and split-type headlights at the front, and a full-width taillight at the rear, adorned with “Linghui EV” and “e9” badges. The vehicle measures 4,995 mm in length, 1,910 mm (or 1,940 mm) in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm, offering exceptional interior space. Powertrain options include two single-motor variants delivering 135 kW and 150 kW respectively, providing CLTC-rated ranges of 535 km and 605 km. Built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0, the Linghui e9 is equipped with the company’s fifth-generation hybrid technology, a wide-temperature-range heat pump, Cloud Blade-C suspension system, and the “God’s Eye” advanced driver-assistance system. The Linghui brand was officially announced on February 2, 2026, positioning itself with the slogan “No Compromise on Technology, More Affordable Pricing,” and will operate through an independent sales channel.
