A technician inspecting the tires of a Ford F-350 discovered that the wheel lug nuts had been installed backward—and were completely concealed by the hubcap, making them nearly impossible to remove with standard tools. The video, posted on Facebook by Dale County Diesel, has garnered over 800,000 views. The technician noted that this setup was highly unusual, requiring an open-end wrench and considerable effort to tighten, and suggested it might have been deliberately done by a previous mechanic—a theory many online commenters labeled as "crazy revenge." Normally, lug nuts should be installed with their tapered side facing inward to ensure proper wheel alignment and secure fastening. Installing them backward could cause the wheel to loosen or even detach, posing an especially high risk for a heavy-duty vehicle like the F-350, which is frequently used for hauling loads. Although human error can't be entirely ruled out, this installation method has sparked widespread skepticism.
