On February 22, China Automotive Data released terminal sales figures for battery electric vehicles (BEVs) in China for 2025. Geely Galaxy Starship topped the rankings with sales of 459,500 units. Wuling ranked second with 427,000 units sold, up 55.33% year-over-year. The Tesla Model Y came in third with 382,300 units, down 20.65% compared to the previous year. The BYD Seagull (307,000 units) and Xiaomi SU7 (258,000 units) secured fourth and fifth places, respectively, with the latter surging 88.85% year-over-year. The Tesla Model 3 ranked sixth with 200,600 units sold, an increase of 13.34% year-over-year. Rounding out the top ten were the BYD Yuan UP, XPeng MONA M03, BYD Dolphin, and Changan Lumin, in positions seven through ten. Notably, the XPeng MONA M03 posted a staggering year-over-year growth of 261.25%, making it the fastest-growing model.
