The 2026 GAC Trumpchi M8 HEV plug-in hybrid MPV has officially launched, with a starting price of RMB 197,800 after government and enterprise subsidies. The new model qualifies for a national scrappage-for-upgrade subsidy of RMB 12,000 and a manufacturer trade-in incentive starting at RMB 10,000, along with a lifetime warranty on its triple-electric system (battery, motor, and power electronics). Safety is enhanced by a body structure comprising 81.7% high-strength steel and the world’s first rear windshield airbag.
