Nissan is adjusting its production strategy for the Z-series sports car, shifting to a "build-to-order" model to avoid excess inventory. It has been revealed that each dealer will receive an average allocation of approximately three Z models, with exact numbers varying by market. The 2027 Z Nismo—equipped with a six-speed manual transmission and widely anticipated by enthusiasts—will be produced in extremely limited numbers. Allocation quotas have already been distributed to dealers, though not all units have been sold yet. Due to high demand and limited supply, markups above MSRP may occur. Nissan stated that this approach aims to precisely match customer demand, ensure every buyer receives their desired configuration, and deliver "the purest Z driving experience." Prospective buyers are advised to contact their local dealer promptly to secure a reservation.
