Avita officially unveiled its Taihang Intelligent Control 2.0 technology today, focusing on extreme road conditions and sudden safety scenarios. Built upon two core technologies—distributed electric drive and electromagnetic suspension—the system independently controls torque and rotational speed at each wheel to achieve precise vehicle dynamics management. In high-speed blowout, slippery surface, and American-style emergency stop scenarios, the system maintains vehicle stability by intelligently distributing braking force across all four wheels and suppressing yaw through significant torque differentials. In real-world testing, the Avita 12 successfully completed a challenge involving simultaneous blowouts of all four tires at 220 km/h. Even with brake calipers removed, the vehicle could still achieve a deceleration of 0.6G using motor braking alone, coming to a stable stop on wet surfaces. Additionally, the system supports a maximum ground clearance of 210 mm, effortlessly handling obstacles such as curbs and flooded roads. The new Avita 12 equipped with this technology will open for pre-orders on March 20 at 19:00.
