On April 15, Linghui Auto launched its first mid-size all-electric sedan with spacious interior and ultra-fast charging capability—the Linghui e7—with an official price range of RMB 95,800 to RMB 115,800. The new model is equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and flash charging technology, claiming a charging speed of "70% in 5 minutes and full charge in 9 minutes." Even at -30°C, charging time increases by only 3 minutes. After undergoing 500 flash-charging cycles, the battery passed nail penetration tests, demonstrating safety performance exceeding China’s latest national standards, with over 5% higher energy density. It also features an all-temperature intelligent thermal management system to extend cycle life. The Linghui e7 is available in five trim levels, with launch purchase benefits including free charging credits, preferential financing rates, complimentary cloud services and in-car data, and lifetime warranty on the triple electric system (battery, motor, and electronic control). Measuring 4,780 mm long, 1,900 mm wide, and 1,530 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,820 mm, the vehicle offers enhanced rear passenger space thanks to widened rear seats and a completely flat floor. Developed to meet commercial-grade durability standards of six years or 600,000 kilometers, the Linghui e7 has completed 9,600 laps of reinforced rough-road testing—double the mileage typically required for private passenger vehicles—making it well-suited for high-frequency usage scenarios such as ride-hailing and government fleet operations. Backed by BYD’s “Flash Charging China” strategy, the company plans to build 20,000 ultra-fast charging stations by the end of 2026, achieving coverage within 5 km in urban areas and every 50 km along highways. The network supports plug-and-charge functionality and seamless payment; after initial binding via the app, users can enjoy fully automated charging processes thereafter.
