Tesla has opened over 1,000 Supercharger stations and more than 400 Destination Charging stations nationwide to non-Tesla electric vehicle owners. At participating locations, non-Tesla vehicles can benefit from time-of-use electricity pricing, waived parking fees, and charging at a maximum power of 250 kW, with charger availability reaching 99.95%. Launched in November 2021, this service is compatible with most battery-electric vehicles that adhere to the 2015 Chinese national standard for DC fast charging (GB/T 20234.3-2015). Users can access the service via the Tesla app or WeChat Mini Program: select “Charge Non-Tesla Vehicles,” register and add a payment method, choose a parking spot, unlock the parking barrier, park, plug in the charger, and begin charging. After charging is complete, users can manually select “Stop Charging.”
