Zeekr has rolled out the OTA 7.2 update to owners of the Zeekr 9X and refreshed Zeekr 001, featuring multiple enhancements across advanced driver assistance, intelligent cabin experience, and service safety. In terms of driver assistance, the update introduces a new manual toll booth passage feature that allows users to pre-select between ETC or manual lanes. The system can recognize the scenario, automatically decelerate for lane entry, and determine when to proceed based on barrier-lift signals. Rural road driving is improved through real-time detection of road edges, enabling smoother navigation over bumpy sections and intelligent avoidance of complex road conditions. Additionally, a new “pull-over-at-destination” function automatically identifies the surrounding environment upon arrival and selects an appropriate spot to complete roadside parking. Intelligent cabin upgrades include four new static wallpapers, refined instrument cluster visuals, and enhanced animation effects in the navigation interface for improved fluidity. The AI Sidebar now offers quick-access entries for microphone-free karaoke and battery settings adjustment. The 3D vehicle model adds a one-touch ventilation switch for rapid air exchange. Eva, the voice assistant, now recognizes speech pauses, extends continuous listening duration, and introduces new features such as saved frequent destinations, external voice announcements, and customizable wake-word voiceprint recognition. On the service and safety front, the update debuts the Zeekr Premium Service Hall app, enabling users to check maintenance items and schedule service appointments. The DLP headlights now integrate with vital sign monitoring—projecting alert patterns onto the ground when alarms are triggered. Additionally, abnormal tire temperature and pressure alerts have been added, with notifications simultaneously pushed to both the mobile app and in-vehicle system to enhance driving safety.
