Tesla will invest $250 million in its Berlin-Brandenburg Gigafactory in Germany to boost production capacity for electric vehicle battery cells. The facility, Tesla's first manufacturing site in Europe, began operations in March 2022 and currently produces hundreds of thousands of Model Y vehicles and millions of battery cells. This investment aims to support the recovery of sales in the European market and further increase overall regional output.
