Mind Robotics, a startup founded by Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe, has raised $400 million in its latest funding round, valuing the company at $3.4 billion. Since its inception late last year, the company has secured over $1 billion in total funding, which will be used to advance its plans to develop AI-powered robots for automotive manufacturing and other industrial sectors. Currently, Mind Robotics is collaborating with Rivian to train and deploy hundreds of intelligent robots at Rivian’s factory in Normal, Illinois, with plans to offer its products and services to a broader range of manufacturing customers in the future.
