Rosenberger's new smart factory in the Changzhou High-tech Zone has officially been completed and put into operation. The base is Rosenberger's largest production and R&D facility in the Asia-Pacific region and the largest single-site facility within the group, focusing on two core business areas: high-speed automotive connectivity and high-end optical communications connectivity. The new factory was planned and built to Industry 4.0 standards, integrating customized automated production lines, comprehensive testing laboratories, an intelligent warehousing system, and a full-chain digital management system. From the groundbreaking to completion, production start-up, and completion of relevant certifications, the overall construction period was 15 months. In the smart automotive sector, in addition to high-speed RF connectivity solutions, the base also publicly showcased for the first time its all-new GFC® automotive fiber-optic solution. The solution supports transmission rates of up to 50 Gbps and a maximum transmission distance of up to 40 meters. For AI computing infrastructure, Rosenberger is leveraging optical communications technology to build a high-performance fiber-optic connectivity foundation. Public information shows that Rosenberger entered the Chinese market in 1997 and has now established a layout of five major production bases in China.
