AITO Unveils Interior Design Details of HarmonyOS-Powered New M8

On November 3, 2026, AITO's official Weibo account revealed interior design details of the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) AITO New M8. The new model's interior adopts "Floating Light and Diamond Shadow" as its core design language, featuring nearly 17 meters of ambient lighting strips throughout the vehicle, 4 wraparound light islands, and a diamond lattice pattern design. The HIMA AITO New M8 will launch on November 13, equipped with Huawei Qiankun Smart Driving ADS 5 system, with a presale price starting at 389,800 yuan. Huawei's official website has published configuration options for the AITO New M8, available in three versions — Max, Max+, and Ultra — offering both extended-range and pure electric powertrains, as well as five-seat and six-seat interior layouts, with the pure electric variant available in rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Configuration information shows that the entire lineup adopts an L3-level architecture, four lidar units, Whale battery, and an 800V platform, with the extended-range version equipped with a 56 kWh battery. Some versions feature dual-chamber dual-valve air suspension and six-piston fixed calipers; some pure electric versions come with a 100 kWh battery, with the right side of the second row in the six-seat version featuring a zero-gravity seat; some pure electric versions are equipped with a 120 kWh battery and offer rear-wheel steering, a 21-inch rear soft-light entertainment screen, smart electric doors, and the Huawei Yuezhang Audio Excellence series.
