MIIT Announcement Batch 413 Publicizes Zeekr 001 BEV Sedan Filing Information

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has released the public notice of new products in the 413th batch of the "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products," and the Zeekr 001 has completed its filing. The Zeekr 001 filed this time is a battery electric sedan produced by Zhejiang Geely Automobile Co., Ltd. In terms of body dimensions, the new vehicle measures 4977mm/5029mm × 1999mm × 1545mm/1533mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3005mm. When equipped with optional air suspension, the vehicle height is 1533mm, corresponding to a tire specification of 255/45R21; the standard version has a vehicle height of 1545mm, with an optional tire specification of 255/55R19. The curb weight is 2350kg/2420kg, the gross vehicle weight is 2810kg/2880kg, and the rated passenger capacity is 5. In terms of the powertrain, the Zeekr 001 filed this time is equipped with a drive motor model TZ230XYC04, produced by Quzhou Jidian Electric Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 370kW (approximately 503 horsepower) and a top speed of 240km/h or 280km/h. The energy storage device is a lithium iron phosphate battery, with cells supplied by Zhejiang Jiyao Tongxing Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and the battery pack produced by Quzhou Jidian Electric Vehicle Technology Co., Ltd. In terms of optional configurations, the new vehicle offers options including two-tone body, badges, rear spoiler, mirrors, front bumper, rear bumper, wheels, brake calipers, brake discs, side trim, and front windshield. The new vehicle can be equipped with an optional dedicated towing device, which does not affect the vehicle length when installed, and the permitted towing mass is up to 2000kg; it can also be equipped with an optional ETC onboard device and comes with an Event Data Recorder (EDR) system. In early October 2026, Zeekr released the "Zeekr 001 Model Update Plan Preview," announcing that the 2027 Zeekr 001 is planned to go on sale in the first quarter of 2027.
