Changan Lincoln Aviator EX8 Completes MIIT Filing for 413th Batch of New Vehicles

On November 3, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the public notice of new products in the 413th batch of the "Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Products Announcement," and the Lincoln AVIATOR EX8 from Changan Ford Automobile Co., Ltd. completed its filing. The model filed this time is a plug-in hybrid sport utility vehicle, with "Changan Lincoln" and "AVIATOR EX8" lettering on the rear. The two filed models measure 5055/1995/1790mm and 5055/1995/1800mm in length, width and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3010mm for both. Tire specifications offer two choices, 255/50R21 and 255/45R22, and the rated passenger capacity is 5. In terms of power, the new vehicle is equipped with a 1.5T engine model JL469ZQ1 produced by Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd., with a displacement of 1497ml, a rated power of 110kW, and a maximum net engine power of 105kW. The vehicle has external charging capability, supports pure electric driving mode, and has a top speed of 205km/h. The energy storage device uses lithium iron phosphate batteries, with both battery cells and packs supplied by Times Changan Power Battery Co., Ltd. The curb weights of the two models are 2580kg and 2480kg respectively, with corresponding gross weights of 2980kg and 2870kg. In terms of equipment, both models are equipped with an ABS anti-lock braking system (controller model MKC2, produced by Omowei Automotive Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.) and an Event Data Recorder (EDR), and offer an optional ETC onboard device. The optional configurations of the two filed versions differ: one model can be optionally equipped with body-color front fenders, doors and rear fenders without black paint on the upper edge, a body-color engine hood, a body-color decorative base for the LINCOLN emblem on the rear door, and different wheel rim designs; the other model only offers optional wheel rim designs.
