GAC Aion AION V battery electric multi-purpose passenger vehicle completes MIIT Batch 413 new product filing

On November 3, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the public notice of new products in the 413th batch of the "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products." The AION V pure electric multi-purpose passenger vehicle declared by GAC Aion New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. completed the declaration, with the product model AHC6460BEVJ1A. The new vehicle is positioned as a compact pure electric SUV, with body dimensions of 4580mm in length, 1854mm in width, and 1660mm in height, a wheelbase of 2765mm, curb weight of 1940kg, gross weight of 2400kg, rated passenger capacity of 5, front and rear track both 1600mm, approach/departure angles of 18°/27°, front/rear overhang of 908mm/907mm, and tire specification of 215/55R18. The rear features the "AION" lettering as well as the Chinese characters "埃安" and the letter "V," with vertically arranged taillight clusters at the rear and a black protective panel with red reflective strips on the rear bumper. In terms of powertrain, the new vehicle is equipped with a TZ180XS135 permanent magnet synchronous motor produced by Suzhou Inovance United Power System Co., Ltd., with a rated power of 45kW, peak power of 165kW, and a top speed of 160km/h. The vehicle is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery produced by CALB Technology Group Co., Ltd., with both cells and battery packs supplied by the company. In terms of configuration, the new vehicle is equipped with an ABS anti-lock braking system (model IPB1.1) produced by Bosch Automotive Products (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., supports optional D-pillar trim panels and wheels, offers an optional ETC onboard device, and is equipped with an Event Data Recorder (EDR) system.
