MIIT's 413th Batch New Vehicle Announcement: Roewe Jiayue 06 Filed, Offering BEV and PHEV Powertrains

On November 3, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the 413th batch of the "Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and Products Announcement" new product public notice, and the Roewe Jiayue 06 completed its filing. The vehicle is positioned as a household sport utility vehicle, with the SAIC Roewe and Jiayue 06 badges on the rear, paired with a full-width taillight assembly and a black rear bumper. According to the public notice information, the Roewe Jiayue 06 measures 4815mm in length, 1900mm in width, and 1695mm in height (with an additional 1687mm height version), with a wheelbase of 2825mm, front and rear track both at 1650mm, front/rear overhang of 936mm/1054mm, and approach/departure angles of 18°/23°. Tire specifications offer two choices: 225/60R18 and 235/55R19, with a rated passenger capacity of 5 and a top speed of 200km/h. This filing includes two pure electric models and one plug-in hybrid model. The pure electric ternary lithium-ion battery version has curb weights of 1900kg and 1955kg, gross weights of 2352kg and 2407kg, and is equipped with a TZ185XY1182 permanent magnet synchronous motor produced by Shanghai Automotive Transmission Co., Ltd., with a rated power of 62kW and peak power of 235kW. The battery cells are supplied by Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited and Jiangsu Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and the battery assembly is produced by SAIC Times Power Battery System Co., Ltd. The pure electric manganese-based lithium-ion battery version has curb weights of 1835kg, 1900kg, and 1955kg, gross weights of 2287kg, 2352kg, and 2407kg, and is equipped with a TZ185XY1181 permanent magnet synchronous motor, with a rated power of 78kW and peak power of 176kW. The battery cells are supplied by Suzhou Qingtao Power Technology Co., Ltd., and the battery assembly is produced by CATL Yikong Power System Co., Ltd. The plug-in hybrid version is equipped with a 15FHC engine produced by SAIC Motor Corporation Limited, with a displacement of 1498ml, engine power of 82kW, and maximum net power of 80kW, matched with a lithium iron phosphate battery and a drive motor. The drive motor has a rated power of 91kW and peak power of 175kW. Curb weights are 1810kg, 1870kg, and 1915kg, gross weights are 2242kg, 2302kg, and 2347kg, and the emission standard is GB18352.6-2016 China VI. In terms of optional configurations, the new vehicle offers choices including different styles of wheels, black roof, fender trim, exterior mirrors, front bumper lower trim, door lower trim, rear bumper lower trim, and front and rear lettering. It can also be configured without roof rails, without a sunroof, without LiDAR, without a front camera, without side radar, and without a rear camera. The vehicle is equipped with an IEB20 ABS anti-lock braking system (produced by SAIC Lianchuang Intelligent Connected Technology (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd.), an Event Data Recorder (EDR), and an optional ETC onboard device.
