On November 4, Zeekr is internally advancing a boxy hardcore off-road SUV project and has begun matching requirements with multiple suppliers. The project has not yet been given an official internal codename, remains in the early matching stage, and has not been formally approved for development. Mass production is expected between 2028 and 2029. The model is planned to adopt either a body-on-frame or semi-body-on-frame architecture, relying on independent torque control through electric drive, long-travel air suspension, and intelligent self-rescue algorithms. There is currently no official confirmation regarding the vehicle's exterior design, powertrain specifications, or pricing range. Earlier in 2026, Zeekr executives said in an interview with overseas media that a hardcore off-road SUV is a key product direction the brand is exploring, though at the time they did not confirm whether it would adopt a boxy design. Zeekr's current product lineup covers sedans, MPVs, and large urban SUVs.
