Recently, the blogger SugarDesign released a set of spy shots of the all-new NIO ET5T undergoing road testing on social media. The test vehicle is covered in heavy camouflage, featuring a fastback wagon body profile, with the roofline extending from the B-pillar to the rear. The rear adopts a full-width red light strip design, and a spoiler shape is present at the end of the roof. The front face features a split-type headlight cluster. Media outlets have already conducted a static review of the actual vehicle. The all-new NIO ET5T is built on NIO's third-generation NT3.0 pure electric platform. The current NIO ET5T measures 4,790 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2,888 mm, positioned as a mid-size wagon. According to leaked information, the all-new ET5T is expected to exceed 5 meters in length, with a wheelbase approaching 3 meters. In terms of technical specifications, the new vehicle features a full-domain 925V high-voltage electrical architecture, supporting a maximum 5C fast-charging rate, adding over 250 km of CLTC pure electric range with just 5 minutes of charging. For powertrain, the blogger speculates a 180 kW induction asynchronous motor at the front and a 260 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor at the rear, with a combined system output of approximately 440 kW, compared to the current model's 360 kW combined system output. The chassis is expected to feature dual-chamber air suspension, and the battery is expected to be a 102 kWh pack, while retaining the NT3.0 platform's native front trunk design. In October 2026, reports emerged that the all-new ET5T may be renamed the ET6T. The MIIT filing images are expected to be released soon, with the new vehicle anticipated to enter the MIIT filing catalog in November or December, and is expected to make its official debut at the NIO Day event by the end of 2026.
