On November 3, the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) released data showing that Tesla's Shanghai factory delivered 67,829 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles in October (including exports to Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, and Canada), up 10.3% year-on-year and down 28.9% month-on-month. The September year-on-year increase was 5%. This marks the 12th consecutive month of year-on-year growth. In October 2026, Tesla's new vehicle registrations rose in multiple European markets. Tesla is the top-selling imported car brand in South Korea, with the South Korean market accounting for one-fifth of total exports of Shanghai-made Teslas in the first nine months of 2026. Tesla cut its full-year capital expenditure forecast by one-fifth; its third-quarter free cash flow was positive. Additionally, Tesla could face regulatory scrutiny on both sides of the Pacific if it pursues a large-scale merger with SpaceX.
