Recently, Spotlight Automotive Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation, under recall number S2026M0113V. The recall involves the following vehicles: certain domestically produced MINI ACEMAN battery electric vehicles manufactured between January 13, 2026 and April 23, 2026, totaling 39 units; certain domestically produced MINI JCW battery electric vehicles manufactured between April 7, 2026 and April 10, 2026, totaling 42 units; and certain domestically produced MINI COOPER battery electric vehicles manufactured between April 7, 2026 and April 23, 2026, totaling 633 units. For some vehicles within the scope of this recall, manufacturing issues may result in poor adhesion between the interior rearview mirror mounting bracket and the windshield glass, causing the interior rearview mirror to become loose. In extreme cases, the interior rearview mirror may detach. Spotlight Automotive Ltd. will entrust BMW (China) Automotive Trading Ltd. to replace the windshield assembly for vehicles within the scope of the recall. This recall modifies the remedial measures and expands the scope of the recall announced on July 24, 2026, titled "Spotlight Automotive Ltd. Recalls Certain MINI Battery Electric Vehicles."
