Blogger Reveals Predictive Rendering of All-New NIO ET5T, Reportedly Set for World Premiere at December NIO Day

Recently, blogger SugarDesign released a set of predictive renderings of the all-new NIO ET5T touring car on social media. According to leaked information, the new car will make its exterior debut at NioDay in December, and will be officially launched at the end of the first quarter of 2027. The touring version will be launched first, with the sedan version delayed. Based on the renderings and leaked information, the all-new ET5T will be upgraded from a mid-size car to a mid-to-large touring car, with a length of approximately 5 meters and a wheelbase expected to reach 3 meters. The front face adopts a DoubleDash diamond dual-layer daytime running light design, with a split-type main headlight cluster below, and the rear is equipped with a three-bar full-width LED taillight. The side profile shows hidden door handles, low-drag multi-spoke wheels, and a lidar unit positioned on the front fender. In terms of equipment, the new car will feature a front trunk and a SkyScreen. Regarding the powertrain system, the new ET5T will offer a 100-degree battery, with larger-capacity battery options available. Battery capacity is expected to increase from the current model's 100 kWh to over 102 kWh, and CLTC range is expected to exceed 800 kilometers. The current NIO ET5T was launched in June 2022, positioned as a mid-size all-electric touring sedan, with a starting price of 298,000 yuan. It features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with a total output of 360 kW, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds. It offers two battery specifications, 75 kWh and 100 kWh, with CLTC ranges of 550 kilometers and 710 kilometers respectively, and supports battery swapping for recharging.
