FAW Hongqi Announces All-New Hongqi H9 Sedan Pre-Sale to Start November 7

On November 6, 2026, FAW Hongqi officially announced that the all-new Hongqi H9 sedan is scheduled to open pre-sales on November 7. The all-new Hongqi H9 comes standard across the lineup with closed-loop air suspension and iDCS variable damping shock absorbers, featuring an all-aluminum chassis and a front double-wishbone plus rear trapezoidal-arm independent suspension setup. Its air suspension and closed-loop compressor system offer a 65mm adjustment range with a adjustment speed of 5mm/s. The terrain preview function, based on camera and LiDAR perception, updates road surface characteristics every 10ms. The electronically controlled suspension system supports millisecond-level damping switching, while the iDCS continuous damping control system supports millisecond-level dynamic adjustment. The new vehicle is equipped with a rear-wheel steering system supporting bidirectional 16° adjustment, along with custom comfort-oriented tires. In terms of intelligent features, the all-new Hongqi H9 is equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving, HarmonySpace smart cockpit, and Hongqi's self-developed intelligent chassis. The vehicle features dual-optical-path image-grade 896-line LiDAR and 40 high-perception sensors, capable of identifying obstacles 14cm in height from 120 meters away at a speed of 120km/h. Additionally, the new vehicle comes with high-brightness pixel headlights and a body-width intelligent light carpet, supporting full-domain battery protection and one-touch privacy mode. For the cabin, the all-new Hongqi H9 adopts an axisymmetric wrap-around design with staggered dual screens, and the interior incorporates crystal and wood grain elements. The HarmonySpace cockpit supports the MoLA architecture intelligent voice assistant, and the vehicle is equipped with exclusive comfort seats and the HUAWEI SOUND Excellence series audio system.
