The entire MINI lineup will undergo a comprehensive mid-cycle update within the next 12 to 18 months, featuring significant revisions to exterior design, technical specifications, and personalization options. This refresh aims to revitalize the current models, as the brand does not plan to launch an all-new generation until after 2029. Holger Hampf, Head of MINI Design, stated that this lifecycle update will encompass all models currently on sale, with a particular focus on enhancing human-machine interaction and user interface. The first updated models—three-door and five-door hatchbacks—will debut next year, followed by the Countryman. The recently launched Aceman is expected to receive its update as early as 2028. Additionally, MINI will continue releasing special-edition models and plans to reinforce its core philosophy of personalization through a broader range of customization options. The team has already begun planning the next-generation products that will succeed the Cooper, Countryman, and Aceman.
