A recent survey reveals that approximately 34% of Japanese companies are already using, planning to deploy, or considering the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) robots, with automakers and other transportation equipment manufacturers leading the way. Specifically, 4% of companies have already deployed AI robots, 5% plan to deploy them, 25% are evaluating their feasibility, and the remaining 66% currently have no related plans. The Japanese government is actively promoting the use of AI robots in the workplace to alleviate chronic labor shortages and reinforce the country's global leadership in industrial robotics. Japan is home to renowned industrial robot manufacturers such as Fanuc, Yaskawa Electric, and Kawasaki Heavy Industries.
