Tesla’s humanoid robots will leverage shared technologies from the company’s vehicle platforms, including batteries, electric motors, and artificial intelligence. In January 2026, Tesla updated its corporate mission, emphasizing a fundamental transformation of transportation through the large-scale deployment of autonomous driving technology and its Robotaxi autonomous ride-hailing service. The company also reaffirmed its commitment to freeing humanity from repetitive labor and building a society of abundance.
