Stellantis announced plans to invest approximately €60 billion by 2030 to launch 60 new models spanning internal combustion engines, hybrids, and battery-electric vehicles. Roughly 70% of this investment will be allocated to core brands including Jeep, Ram, Peugeot, Fiat, and the newly established commercial vehicle division, Pro One, while other brands will focus on regional market development. The company has already earmarked €24 billion for the development of global platforms, powertrains, and new technologies. Incoming CEO Antonio Filosa will present this strategy to investors at the Capital Markets Day event in Auburn Hills, Michigan—a move signaling a strategic shift toward prioritizing more profitable brands and outsourcing certain high-cost technology development, such as autonomous driving, to external partners like Wayve.
