The Beijing Off-Road BJ40 Extended-Range Long-Range Edition has officially launched, offering three variants: Max, Max+, and Ultra. Their refreshed prices are RMB 169,800, RMB 194,800, and RMB 199,800 respectively, compared to the original MSRP of RMB 179,800, RMB 204,800, and RMB 209,800. Positioned as a compact SUV, the new model is equipped with a 40.3 kWh battery pack, delivering a CLTC all-electric range of 252 km and a combined range of 1,300 km. It supports fast charging, capable of charging from 30% to 80% in as little as 13.9 minutes. Exterior design carries over the current extended-range version’s styling, featuring a boxy, rugged aesthetic with circular daytime running lights, an externally mounted spare tire, and F-shaped taillights. The interior comes standard with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.8-inch central infotainment screen, and a 12.8-inch passenger-side entertainment display. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, the vehicle’s infotainment system supports AI-powered voice interaction and includes an L2-level advanced driver-assistance system. Under the hood, the BJ40 Extended-Range Long-Range Edition features a 1.5T range extender paired with front and rear dual motors, forming a full-time all-wheel-drive system. This setup delivers a combined output of 403 kW and peak torque of 655 N·m, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 5.5 seconds.
