Xiaomi Auto has announced its title sponsorship of three national-level Chinese circuit racing series: the China Touring Car Championship (CTCC), China GT Championship, and China Endurance Championship (CEC). Starting in 2025, the Xiaomi YU7 GT will serve as the official medical car for these events. The YU7 GT made its track debut as a medical car on May 23 at the China GT Ningbo round. In March this year, Xiaomi officially signed agreements with all three championships. In addition to the YU7 GT serving as the medical car, the SU7 Ultra will also be deployed as the official safety car to support race operations. The CEC is sanctioned by the Chinese Motor Sport Association (CMSA) and included in the General Administration of Sport of China’s annual competition calendar as a Category-A national sporting event. The CTCC is an FIA-certified national championship and is likewise listed as a Category-A event in the General Administration of Sport’s annual schedule. It features two classes—China Production and Super Production—and holds rounds at international circuits including Shanghai and Zhuhai. China GT is approved by both the General Administration of Sport of China and the CMSA, and is included in the national sports competition program and the China Automobile Motorcycle Sports Federation (CAMF) racing calendar. It comprises three classes: GT3, GTC, and GT4.
