Hanstec has launched its Light Field Display 2.0 based on waveguide technology, featuring a resolution of 1920×1080, capable of generating a 55-inch virtual image with a virtual imaging distance of 7.5 meters, all within a compact form factor of less than 1 liter in volume. Designed with a long focal length optical system, the product aims to reduce driver visual fatigue and leverages the ultra-thin nature of waveguide plates to save cabin space. By developing its own high-efficiency projection engine and implementing vertical integration, Hanstec has overcome traditional bottlenecks in waveguide technology related to brightness and cost. The device primarily targets premium executive sedans, luxury SUVs, and flagship family tech vehicles, addressing core requirements of OEMs for intelligent cockpit display solutions. The company plans to continue advancing waveguide technology and positions itself as the “Optical Signal Architect” for the era of intelligent driving.
