Hyundai Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd. has filed two recall campaigns with China's State Administration for Market Regulation, affecting a total of 278 imported Palisade vehicles. The first recall (Campaign No. S2026M0059V) will take effect on June 29, 2026, and involves 250 vehicles produced between August 13, 2025, and November 6, 2025. Due to a design issue in these vehicles, when the third-row seat is moved to its rearmost position, the wiring harness for the left-side seat belt reminder switch is shorter than the seat belt webbing. Pulling the buckle may cause the wiring harness to break, resulting in the instrument cluster incorrectly indicating that the seat belt is fastened even when it is not—a condition that poses a safety risk. Hyundai will inspect the relevant wiring harness free of charge at authorized service centers; if intact, an extension wire will be added, and if already broken, the entire seat belt buckle assembly will be replaced. The second recall (Campaign No. S2026M0060V) takes effect immediately and involves 28 vehicles produced between August 19, 2025, and September 16, 2025. In these vehicles, an anomaly in the power management integrated circuit within the instrument cluster controller may cause display lag or a green screen glitch behind the interface when the turn signal is activated. Hyundai will eliminate this issue by upgrading the instrument cluster controller software free of charge at authorized service centers.
